Rejoice, rejoice in the Lord, all the world,
dienet dem Herrn mit Freuden!
serve the Lord with gladness!
Kommet vor sein Angesicht mit Frohlocken, Alleluja.
Come before his countenance with exultation, Alleluia!

Sei Lob un Preis mit Ehren,
Laud and praise with honor
Gott Vater Sohn und Heil’gem Geist,
be to God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit,
der woll’ in uns vermehren
who wants to increase in us
was er aus Gnaden uns verheißt,
what he promised us out of grace,
daß wir ihn fest vertrauen,
that we firmly trust him
gänzlich verlass’n auf ihn,
completely abandoning ourselves to him
von Herzen auf ihn bauen,
building upon him sincerely,
daß uns’r Herz, Mut und Sinn
that our heart, spirit and mind
ihm tröstlich soll’n anhangen,
shall comfortingly adhere to him
